36 women from different countries show that beauty is subjective. What do you think?

“My name is Mihaela Noroc, I am a Romanian photographer who has been traveling the world for 4 years with my camera and backpack, photographing normal women and compiling their stories. My project is called the Atlas of Beauty.

My goal is to show that each woman shines like a star because beauty is diversity, and not only what we see in the media. For me, beauty has no age, color or tendency. You find it in Africa or Europe, in a town or in a skyscraper, in a gesture, in a look, in wrinkles or in a story. You find it in every human with a kind heart.

Now the Atlas of Beauty becomes a book with more than 500 portraits and many interesting stories. In these times of hatred and intolerance, I want to send a message of love and acceptance. I hope this book reaches many households around the world, convincing more people that diversity is a treasure and not what causes conflict and hatred. We are very different, but at the same time we are all part of the same family. ”
